Back to School

Well, the kids are back to school and Cash has been keeping me company in the car on our many trips to taxi them all to and from their activities.  He loves to get tons of lovin' at Tae Kwon Do and football practice, but after a little while, he starts to get a little bucky and jump and nip at people.  I think he's still a little young for long periods of stimuli, but he sure is getting plenty of socialization!  Maybe he just doesn't like all the questions... "What's wrong with his ears?"  "Is that a Dalmation?"  "Why does he have to wear that hat?"  "Did he get hurt?"  Yeah... I'd probably get a little bucky, myself.

Oh, and at his 2 week post-op, he weighed 35 lbs.  Keep the food coming!

My Grandma says I look cool with antler ears.

Who to chase first... ?

Better... I think

It's been almost a week since the surgery and although the stitches don't come out for another week, Cash decided to take matters into his own... err, paws.  He scratched his coffee cup off of one ear and we had to go get them re-taped by a super nice bunch of Great Dane breeders, the Lobatos.  Joy and Jerry are knowledgeable, talented, and the nicest people you could hope to meet.  In addition to getting to visit with them during Cash's ear tapings, we get to visit with their breathtaking fawn Danes.

What do you think of the new look?

Finn... from Adventure Time?  I still hate it.

Happy New Ears!

Well, it's only been 2 days, but timing is important, so off we go to see Dr. Rose about some big boy ears!  Our boy was a trooper, but I don't think it really helped our "bonding" to make him wear the cone of silence.

I'm not sure about this new look
